Skeemz R1 is a British rapper born in London, England. He was raised between the UK and Lagos, Nigeria through his childhood and teenage years. He makes drill rap as well as contemporary UK Rap music and is known in the drill scene for employing melodic undertones to his delivery. In 2020, Skeemz R1 participated in the “Blackbox Under 18s Cypher” which has since accumulated over 1.4 million views on Youtube. Skeemz has also released singles such as Acid Rain and Aubameyang (A song that was later acknowledged by the famous footballer himself ) that have amassed hundreds of thousands of streams as a solo artist.
