Jëan Fixx is the musical alias of multidisciplinary artist Félix Fernández. Since 2018, he has embarked on his journey as a producer with his debut EP “Uncanny Valley.” His eclectic tastes lead him to immerse himself in the hypnotic structure of Techno, while still embracing the vibrant force of Electro and the captivating melodies of Synthwave. He fearlessly combines these influences with industrial sounds and dense reverberating atmospheres of Dubstep, approaching IDM. This unique blend is evident in his second EP “Globalizer,” released in December 2020 under the “Deep Different” label. The EP was featured on the esteemed music blog “Ruido de Fondo” and received airplay on the prestigious radio shows “Paralelo 3” and “Fluido Rosa” on Radio 3. “2084,” his first full-length studio album, consists of nine tracks that unfold like chapters in a retro-futuristic narrative, where digital elements sometimes take on an organic presence reminiscent of natural sounds. His live performances have been showcased at festivals such as Fanzine Fest, Tamden Fest, and Senda Fest. He has also DJed at select clubs in the northern Spanish electronic scene, including Black Club in SCQ and Mondo Club in VGO, with his sessions being featured in podcasts like Counterraism and Archaic. Jëan Fixx collaborates with artists such as @Lefrenk, @Drow or @Dr. Juhh. His last release, "Serial Killer," are available through Berlin-based label Iptamenos Discos and his upcoming realease "CIRCA" through DISCTRL.
