Carlos Andres Rico (aka Arepabahn) is a Colombian composer based in Hamburg. Under the artistic name of Arepabahn he is active as producer, performer and Dj. His productions unite futuristic sounds with different traditions of the world, and his Dj sets are cosmic and danceable, and moves from ritual music to electric experimental sounds. Besides producing and composing, he plays electric bass with the Hamburg band Las Flores Doradas, and as a curator he founded in 2017 SELVA, festival of contemporary music, performance and video that aims to create spaces for the dissemination of new talent and groundbreaking ideas from Latin America in Germany.
