Gayville Dollies, better known as “Gusto”, is a South African rapper and songwriter. Gusto was born in South Africa, Northern Cape De Aar, primarily known as the most important railway junction town in the country. He was raised primarily by his Grandmother in Cape Town, Lake View Retreat, a housing project alongside the Cape flats from 1998-2014. He then moved to Jo' burg where he began rapping and later signed to an independent record label that he is an non executive director in, named 1619 RECORDS. In August 2022, he released his debut mixtape BUILT FOR THE PROCESS and in 2023 he'll be releasing a single titled "I SPY" which marks his return to the music scene since the release of BUILT FOR THE PROCESS in 2022. Fresh out of 2023, Gusto kick starts the year 2024 with a brand new single titled, THROWBACK Featuring Thomas Hazey. The single which was produced by 1619 Records in-house producer KID PLUGG , marks as Gusto's first single of the year 2024 as he gears up for the release of another full length body of work.
