DEF davyne (pronounced divine) is an Oregon based Hip Hop artist that is known for his verbal dexterity, gymnastic delivery, intricate rhyme schemes, and emotional storytelling. His earliest influences were Warren G + Jermaine Dupri + 2Pac + Twista and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony. A prolific artist, DEF davyne has independently released hundreds of songs, several mixtapes, and four full length solo albums. Over the past two decades, he has shared the stage with a variety of Hip Hop talent such as Too $hort + Sir Mix-A-Lot + E-40 + Millyz + Twisted Insane + Krayzie Bone + Cryptic Wisdom + Planet Asia + Mitchy Slick + The Grouch & Eligh + Dizzy Wright + Teejay3k and more. He has performed in multiple venues across the Northwest including the Lane County Fairgrounds and Alton Baker Park for the annual Juneteenth Celebration. Based on the success of many collabs with King DeLane the two artists dropped an album together called Still Smokin' and took their show on the road as part of the national Raising The Bar tour with Stevie Stone + Locksmith and JL. Shortly after, they released their follow up album Masterminds and toured the Northwest with Afroman. After dropping a well received conscious album titled Good Vibes Only, they showcased their storytelling skills with their latest album Legendary.
