Jacknowledge's music journey began at 14 with DJing, spanning genres from House to Hip Hop. His passion was reignited in his mid-20s after experiencing Techno at Club Vaag in Antwerp, inspired by "Little Sun" by Dense & Pika. This pivotal moment led him into music production. In 2020, he debuted with "The Test," a collaboration with Essor under TAUB Recordings, followed by his self-release "MTDA" with Jackstasy. In 2021, he teamed up with Chemical Dumpster to produce the Techno EP "The War Within" under Papotako Records and remixes for BASSCONTROLISM. In 2023, Jacknowledge released a popular cover of "I Don't Wanna Know" by Mario Winans, garnering over 27K streams on SoundCloud. In 2024, he ventured into Drum & Bass with his first full track "The Busdriva" featuring Young Delicious and prepared covers like "Sharam - Party All The Time" and "Critical Mass - Burnin' Love." Jacknowledge co-founded the record label and event agency "Tijdverdrijf," organizing House & Techno parties and releasing House, Techno and Trance music. Highlighted achievements include winning the Vestrock DJ Rally in 2022 and performing at the Vestrock 2022 Festival (Hulst / NL), headlining Spoorloos in DUST! club (Breskens / NL), MØØN Invites in El Toro (Goes / NL), and playing at UUTWAAIEN, a self-hosted, secret rave in Zeeland. Upcoming shows include UUTWAAIEN 2.0, Summervibes Festival (Clinge / NL), and Spätkauf Berlin Techno Night (Terneuzen / NL).
