Apucllay, Cholololos! From Arequipa - South of Perú, Hammelin has emerged as the voice of great volcanos of the Andes Mountains, which sing to jungles yet mysterious and rough seas which cry out for respect. With almost 20 years of artistic life, Hammelin’s proposal has positioned itself in the heart of its followers by combining Peruvian folkloric elements from the whole country and the energy and speed of Hard Rock and Heavy Metal. Many have felt identified with their deep lyrics, filled with life experiences and hope or others which narrate epic tales of their national history. Thanks to this, Hammelin has been able to share stage with great artists of the genre such as Rata Blanca, Mago de Oz. Satatoga, Saurom, Uróboros, Leo Jiménez, Fabio Lione and the band even had a notable participation in the national TV show “La Banda“, where they got to final rounds. At the moment, after releasing their debut album in 2017 named “Seca tus Lágrimas” and some singles which honor the music from Perú, Hammelin is very close to releasing their second studio album “Y no podrán matarlo” this 2024. In this album, more brief and direct songs will be included and a more consolidated style of the “Peruvian Cholo Rock” will be shown!
