Barcelona born and raised with an international view of the world, Rose YW has been making music, creating video concepts and working on his creative abilities since a young age. At 15 years of age he started releasing music on Youtube and Soundcloud under the name "Rose", which would later be converted to "Rose YW". In 2018 he started the collective "Rose SCTY" along with fellow local and international artists who shared similar collaborative and genre-fusing values; known today as "Top Boys Collective (TBC)". In 2019 he released his first song on Spotify; "Come With Me // Blue", combining melodic and versatile flows over a dancehall, R&B-inspired sample instrumental. In 2021, he has continued working on genre-fusing music with artists such as: Teka G, appearing on his album 'Afropop&Heartbreak', SladdMob's Xarlyto, Tokyo M, Jonàs Vargas and producers like Yansid, and Kiwi B. After the release of the spanglish trap-house single "Paranoia" with producer Stefanoff, he finally released in 2022 his first EP: 'Contrastes' revolving around the duality of Love: the good in the bad & the bad in the good. It fuses generse with features from various TBC artists: Kasmi, Jonàs Vargas & Tokyo M, continuing to push the boundaries of urban international genres with a local sound. In 2024 he continues to explore melodic genre-fusing sounds.
