Brent Butler is a LA-based producer, rapper, songwriter, and guitarist. Born in Vineland, NJ, Brent started his music career playing drums and guitar in local punk bands. After moving to NYC in 2008, his focus became hip hop production and rap. In 2015 he independently released the concept EP, THE COLD PRESS with cowriter Deascent. Brent & Deascent then began fronting a band named after the EP and performing around the East Coast. In 2018 Brent released his first solo EP, LILAC. The project was entirely self produced and displayed Brent's continued interest in pop punk and pop music in addition to rap and hip hop. Today Brent lives in Los Angeles, CA and is working on the follow up to LILAC in addition to writing and producing for other independent artists.
