Influenced by the trials and errors of his life, New York based Artist Benny Slums, BNYSLMS, captures the stories and lessons of his inner-city life. With the introduction of poetry at an early age, BNYSLMS began creating music at the age of 12 years old. It was with poetry that BNYSLMS learned how to create story-telling driven songs that depict the everyday obstacles most young men and women endure.
