A versatile singer-songwriter, musician and journalist based in New York City area. Gruber was born in Caracas, Venezuela; and raised in the southern region of his country (Guayana State), widely influenced by Antillean, Brazilian and Colombian-Amazonian music. His career in Venezuela, Colombia and New York and the rest of the world, has been marked by important collaborations, recordings and stages shared with award-winning artists of the tropical genre such as: Gilberto Santa Rosa, Elvis Crespo, Jerry Rivera, Oscar De León, Adolescentes Orquesta, Wilmer Lozano, Willie Colón, Ismael Miranda, Eddie Palmieri, Eddy Herrera, Jerry Rivera, Jorge Celedón, Diomedes Díaz, Pastor López, Olga Tañón, Don Omar, Maelo Ruíz, Tony Succar, among many others; with whom he continues adding experience.
