Kiico, a musician from north London, was inspired to start rapping at the age of five after finding a notebook of music written by his dad. The up and coming rapper had to grow up fast, using lyricism as a way to ‘lay bare realities and struggles’. Last year Kiico took part in BBC Three’s The Rap Game UK, hosted by BBC Radio 1Xtra’s head of music DJ Target and award-winning British rap duo Krept & Konan, eclipsing artists countrywide to be crowned winner of the talent show. As a result of his success, the 21 year old took to the stage at London’s O2 Arena, supporting the MOBO Award winners during their UK tour, alongside Yungen and K-Trap
