Sigmund Floyd is the pseudonym of Sigmund Holtskog. Sigmund is a vocalist, multiinstrumentalist and producer who’s released records since the mid 90´s. First and foremost with the still active electronica and disco dub pioners Palace of Pleasure, but also with the obscure repetitive drone rockers Humid and lat, but not least with the house vs. synth pop vs. post punk outfit Legs 11. Palace of Pleasure received the Norwegian Grammy for best electronic albums twice two separate releases and have played hundreds of concerts and festivals throughout Norway and Europe. Legs 11 has released three full albums, lots of EP’s and singles on Beatservice Records in recent years. A new Legs 11 album is in the making. Apart from the bands Sigmund Floyd has been collaborating with friend and musician Sommerfeldt. Resulting in there releases. The newest gem, Meadows is just out. More will come! Floyd has also collaborated with the Ukrainian Deep House producer Vincent Inc on Manuscript Records resulting in a song called Like in Heaven, which comes in quite a lot of different remixes from lots of great producers. They have also made a cover version of Devine's Shoot the Shot!
