Born in San Francisco, currently living in LA. Jaagii takes heavy influence from 90s and 2000s hip hop/r&b. He started making beats in his high school computer lab, then learned how to record and produce in college. Soon after he started writing his own songs, and nearly 10 years later finally released his first EP, “Who Is Jaagii.” 
 “I used to want to make music that sells, but I think that’s the problem. I don’t think there are enough people making music for the sake of the art anymore. Once I started focusing on making music that’s true to who I am, I really started to find my sound and started making music that I’m proud of. That’s what it’s about. That’s what I’m gonna keep doing.”
