White Page has been established on March 8, 2011 in Kabul, Afghanistan by Hojat Hameed and Reshad Afzali after they came to agreement with the other members of the band; Ratib Ramish (currently lives in Sweden) and Maqsood Sadid. Since august 2014 they live in Switzerland except the bassist. Fuck the war was composed as a first song by White Page which is the name of the first Album as well. This song is blended with Afghani Music. The song is in Afghani 7/8 rhythm which expresses three decades war. This is the only Afghan Rock Band that was mentioned in Rolling Stone magazine, which is one of the most popular rock magazines through the world. White Page is a new and blank page, a white page over all black pages which reflect adversity of three decades war. It could be written good words, good days of Afghan people and unsaid and unheard words of them, the words which are in the hearts, and finally the development of Afghanistan. That’s why it is called “White Page”.
