A multi-faceted artistic soul, Verseless set himself apart as a versatile multi-genre music producer getting credits from of Burna Boy, Tehn, Simba Tagz and M.I.L.E. His production prowess was first seen in his Veryus project in 2017 that saw him producing for a number of upcoming artist's singles and full length albums. He released a series of underground EPs and a full length album as a showcase of his vast scope in sound Gwinyai Runyowa was born in Harare, Zimbabwe. He began creating his own songs on the piano in High school which then transitioned to digital production not long after. He graduated from High school and took up Animation at Limkokwing University in Malaysia. During his studies there, he kept his music spirit alive by starting a band and releasing his first ever single with @Bloodlyne. Music wasn’t the only thing he explored as he had a foot in various artists disciplines: photography, videography, dance, beatbox, fine arts and animation A collaboration with Shingai in 2021 sparked the sound trajectory of infusing Modern Pop with an Amapiano DNA: the birth of Verseless’ Popiano. The song “No Fear” was an unapologetic anthem for the African narrative of embracing one's identity and birthright. Working with Shingai confirmed that the sound he was developing was indeed the right track Not long afterwards he finds himself signing a distribution deal with Africori and releasing his 2nd single in the Popiano sound featuring Eden Lang called Don’t in 2022.
