Ryan Hodson, Aka Space Gorilla aka Broccoli Bruce was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. Ryan founded the band Broccoli Samurai with band members Chris Walker and Steve Fade in 2010 and is still active in the band. He plays keyboards in Broccoli Samurai but founded the new project Space Gorilla in the wake of the Coronavirus pandemic in 2020. Forced to quarantine and find new alternate creative avenues, the birth of Space Gorilla took shape.
