A.O.D is a collective based out of Los Angeles, California that consist of rappers, singers, and producers from East, Mid-West, and the West Coast. This collective emcompesses of what true artistry is when it comes to Hip-Hop. Members hailing from Boston, The Bronx, Harlem, Ohio, Fresno, and Los Angleles were brought together under one roof to record some music not knowing they were all going to end up being in a group. Producer Shafiq Husayn says, "it was just magic when folks were rolling into my studio to record music." The first single "We Are Not the Same" is from the forthcoming album "Mixed Media" with a high energy infectious groove, hard hitting drums, and verbal word play from Marc Live (Bronx, NY), Born Allah (Los Angeles) and Speed Walton (Cincinatti) confronts the stigma of how bloggers speak their mind's behind the screen, but could never say anything in front of anyone's face. The production crew known as the A.O.D Council is lead by Sa-Ra Creative Partners co-founder and Grammy award winner Shafiq Husayn, Ultramagnetic Mc's T.R. Love, and Ariel "The Cartel' Caban display great versatility in production that draws you into the song keeping you right there in the center of it all making every second count. Hip-Hop is embedded in this crew with a deep rich history. Many of the members have worked with many of the greats such as Beyonce, Jill Scott, Pharoahe Monch, Rakim, Dr. Dre, Anderson Paak, Ice-T, 50 Cent, and many others.
