Nautilus is a Japanese Jazz trio centered around drummer Toshiyuki Sasaki. Together with bass player Shigeki Umezawa and Mariko Nakabayashi on the keys they are known for their distinctive style, which can be summarized as the modern rare groove, embodies a mixture of jazz, funk, disco music, soul, and even hip hop. In 2020, Daisuke Takeuchi left the band and Mariko joined as a new member.
