Biography

Tjark Bellut aka Wave Wave is a 25-year-old DJ and producer from Hamburg. Since releasing his first official track in 2017, he has been going from strength to strength: His songs have crossed the 100 million streams mark, he has delivered official remixes for renowned international greats such as Endless Summer, Cheat Codes, Quarterhead, Jonas Blue, Sam Feldt and Winona Oak. One of his biggest fans and supporters in the scene happens to be one of Wave Wave‘s reasons to start producing electronic music: Robin Schulz. The German DJ/producer megastar signs Wave Wave in 2020 for his newly founded label Mentalo Music – another milestone for the young DJ/producer who started producing his first beats at the age of 15. Today, his sonic spectrum includes club tracks with an aesthetic melancholy in a combination of melodic and tech house as well as more or less commercial songs that can be heard on radio stations around the world. Wave Wave‘s latest releases like „You Shine“ „The Dream“ and „Desire“ are streamed millions of times and were supported on the biggest festivals such as Tomorrowland, Ultra Music Festival and EDC. Over the last two years he gained nearly 500k combined followers on Instagram and TikTok. Equally celebrated as a life act, he started djing in front of people in 2022. 2023 has already been a great start in his dj career with shows at the iconic „Pacha“ in Ibiza, festivals like Parookaville, Strandfieber and Amsterdam Dance Event.
