Lauren’s first EP ‘Hand Made Escape’, recorded at Dirt Floor Recording Studio in CT, is a compilation of memories and melodies, heartache and hope, all melded into songs with echoes of folk, blues, pop, rock, and americana. Her candid lyrics are unexpected and original, bringing listeners into her shoes, wherever they may be. Her songs dive into what it’s like to live without putting down roots, written from the experience of making a life spent between towns, cities, countries, and cultures, from Mexico to Alaska. ‘Hand Made Escape’, produced by prolific recording artist and producer Eric Lichter, brings new life to her songs previously sung solo, and makes them into a collection of sounds and melodies that run deep, with bass and guitar accompaniment by Anthony Valentino and Ray White of The Locomotives. ‘Hand Made Escape’ is an album that has only begun to touch on these themes, leaving plenty of space for Lauren’s next round of songs for a second EP, coming soon.
