Born to Trinidadian and Jamaican immigrants in Bedstuy Brooklyn, Kwama’s origin is nothing short of Hip-Hop. Kwama’s uncanny sense of rhythm first revealed itself at the age of 5. Influenced by a Coca-Cola Commercial featuring a tap dancer Savion Glover, Kwama’s grandmother noticed him emulating the dancer and enrolled him in classes next week. Fast forward years later his story picks back up in Dallas, Texas where Kwama began his rap career. With his soul wired for music and rhythm he naturally gravitated towards Hip-Hop, and began rocking local shows as a teenager. Approaching his 10,000 hr mark in the game, Kwama has refined his skills and ready to take on the world.
