Bananafish is the musical alias of Northern Irish sound designer and educator James R.G. Wright. Blending electronic textures, rhythms and organic field recordings, his music ranges from ambient-glitch architecture to boom-bap beats to desolate-arctic environments. He aims to take the listener through a vast sonic landscape, inviting listeners to close their eyes and join him on these journeys through sound and space. James works as a technical tutor and associate lecturer at the University for the Creative Arts, where he aims to get students excited about the fascinating world of sound.
