Biography

R.A.N.SO.M is certainly no stranger to Music. His mother, an R&B singer herself, surrounded him with a heavy background in music education and has been one of the greatest influences in his musical arts, as well as artists such as the Jacksons, The Sylvers, Smokey Robinson, The O'Jays and many more. R.A.N.S.O.M fell in love with Hip hop in 1980 after hearing Rappers delight and other songs like Rock Box, White lines, and he wrote his first rap in 84 after being inspired by the legend LL COOL J's I Need A Beat The love affair led him to write and record his first song in 86 with long time friend and Legend BUMPIN T and the partnership led to two albums PAIN and THE RYTHUM featuring artist such as Angelique from FIRST CHOICE with several songs being played on ksfm 102.5 FM. As the main writer for these projects this proved to be a major push and catalyst for R.A.N.SO.M's long musical career. R.A.N.S.O.M took a break from music from 95 until 2010 where he returned and got reintroduced to long time producer DERYCK D WERMIG and R.A.N.S.O.M went on to create his project the OFFERING PLATE featuring songs such as CHALKLINES, IT AIN'T WHAT YOU THINK, RAL EMCEES and more and that project sold over 5000 hard copies with no airplay and no video. R.A.N.S.O.M reinvested everything he made into the project COMIN' FOR SECONDS which went on to sell well over 10,000 digital and hard copies combined. R.A.N.S.O.M has two new projects out Called THE GAME DIDN'T CHANGE AND TAKE A LOOK.
