Lonesome Bones is an emcee and sample-based hip hop producer from San Diego. He was raised on burritos, grainy hip-hop mixtapes, and DC shoes. Back in the day, he was a knucklehead who came of age smoking herb out of a kazoo in a friend's backyard listening to Wu-Tang. Later, he cut his teeth as an emcee and producer as part of Higher Minds, an early 2000s institution in the San Diego underground hip hop scene. Now, he's a *completely serious person* with a desk job and two kids. He's into going on mystical, cosmic, psychedelic walkabouts and making weird songs about outer space and shit. You should check it out. Early influences were Wu-Tang Clan, Outkast, Nas, Atmosphere, Living Legends, Swollen Members, and Dilated Peoples. More recently: Deca, Evidence, Brother Ali, and Jonwayne.
