Michael Tucker is an American vocalist, producer, and storyteller who fuels his music with energy, emotion, and expertise. Drawing inspiration from the 2000s rock scene, Michael combines themes of relationships, identity, and more to connect with his listeners. Whether it’s Rock, R&B, Trap, Acoustic, Hyperpop, or any other genre he touches, his music and message aims to balance relatability in his stories with entertainment in his melodies. Vocally, Michael’s greatest influences include Emo Rap icons such as Juice WRLD, Lil Peep, and XXXTENTACION. Preceding his first studio album, “Text Me, Rockstar”, Michael aimed to blend his own sound with inspirations from Panic! At The Disco and Paramore to more modern artists such as Machine Gun Kelly, The Kid LAROI, and Post Malone. Born and raised in the suburbs of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Michael quickly developed a love for all things music. Kickstarting his music journey, six-year-old Michael met his love for music through his parents’ antique grand piano hidden in their basement. Michael began recording himself in his bedroom after school and between classes—any chance he could find, he was making music. Upgrading from his bedroom, he now operates as lead mixing engineer for Sioux Falls’s Wolvii Records in addition to pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Marketing at Augustana University.
