Takaaki Sekiguchi is an active composer, arranger, orchestrator and conductor. His main activities are composing and arranging for TV shows, animation, games, and commercials. He is in charge of string arrangements for YOSHIKI's(X Japan) dinner show. He arranged all the music for the joint concert with an orchestra in North Europe by the singer "HIMEKA" who has released CD from Sony Music Japan International. 
 He is also active in other styles of music, including solo, chamber, wind, choral and orchestral ensemble music. 
 He aspired to become a composer after admiring Gustav Mahler and John Williams. He studied to write music for grandiose spectacle films under the influence of his teacher, Koichi Sakata, and then began to write nostalgic style as well.
