Talking To Teapots was a band from Kristianstad, Sweden, combining a love for catchy pop tunes, lo-fi rock and avant-garde. Formed as a recording trio in 1999 (or 1997, depending on how you look at it) and ended up as five touring idiots before calling it quits (for a second time) in 2013. In addition to a dozen of self-released CD-r albums and EPs, they put out two official full-lengths - The Re-creation Of All Things (2007) and Talking To Teapots (2012). After the breakup, lead singer and guitarist Martin Månsson Sjöstrand went on to form This Heel and Dog, Paper, Submarine. In 2021 he started to work on his Arkivkollage series, cutting together snippets from hundreds of unreleased Talking To Teapots songs, demos and discarded projects.
