From an early age, Nuaru has had an almost unhealthy obsession for loud music, putting al his time and energy in playing the drums and guitars in punk rock and heavy metal bands. Upon discovering the world of instrumental hip-hop, he got interested in making music electronically. Inspired by artists like Machinedrum, Flying Lotus and even Enya, he produces sound in all shapes and forms, but with a recognizable energetic, raw and experimental quality. By fusing together the best characteristics from a wide range of genres like drum & bass, house, ambient and pop, he has carved out his very own subgenre in the bass music scene. With this unique trait he has attracted DJ support from the likes of Ambassadeurs, Rachel Green, Quentin Hiatus and even EDM heavyweight Martin Garrix. His latest effort serves as his solo debut outside of the Dutch border, on British label Lost Tribe.
