Si hablamos de historia de Rap mexicano uno de los nombres imprescindibles es el de Jezzy P, rapera oriunda de Ecatepec, Edo de México y una de las primeras mujeres que incursionaron en este género desde 1998. Su sonido va desde el G-funk, el Gangsta Rap evolucionando a un estilo llamado Rap Gótico por su sonido más oscuro. Artista hip hop independiente, tallerista, gestora y activista cultural, dirige el Colectivo Mujeres Trabajando y el Festival Amazonas Urbanas. Su trabajo se puede escuchar en soundtrack de series como Ingobernable (Netflix), Capadocia (HBO), Mary Kills People; películas como Safehouse, Ultimate Sacrifices o telenovelas como Corazones al límite (Televisa) entre otras. -- Jezzy P is one of the most important figures in female rap throughout Latin America.
