7 Years in the making, 18 year old Kuriyo from New York City represents himself and his inner thoughts with his alternative style of Hip-Hop and Rap while also blending different genres into his records. Inspired by story driven artists such as Kendrick Lamar and Tyler, The Creator, Every single record is carefully put together with a theme no matter how arbitrary it seems. Before he switched to Hip-Hop, he found himself getting his name out there in the Color Bass scene with his EP, "95th St" debuting on Seikatsu Records that defines his creativity with a theme of nostalgia. In 2024, Kuriyo released his debut album, FROG., a 13 track experience that encapsulates his emotions into a concept album. FROG. is a stepping stone in Kuriyo's music, detailing his creativity through his instrumentals and flows on songs like CROAK, and POPCORN FOR BREAKFAST, while also putting his raw emotions into heart wrenching songs like ...I CAN'T SPEAK, and 2014 - 2024 (AND STILL GOING). Kuriyo only improves his style with each and every release to the point that each record feels almost alien in comparison.
