Jamie McGeechan aka Little Fire is an award winning singer-songwriter from Ayr in Scotland. He has previously opened for artists including Joan Armatrading, Damien Rice, Justin Currie, The Secret Sisters, Dougie MacLean, Eddi Reader and the great Andrew Roachford. Performing around the world Jamie has previously appeared at New York Tartan Week, the Ohio Scottish Games (USA), The Camperdown Burns Festival in Australia, The New Hampshire Highland Games (USA), the London Burns Club, Blueballs Festival (Switzerland), the Latitude Festival and Celtic Connections. Jamie made history in being the first musician to record inside Burns Cottage in Alloway which gave birth to a record entitled Roots capturing the very essence of the origins of Burns, his roots in the fertile Ayrshire earth. Releasing his debut album High Hopes in 2014 tracks from this record enjoyed support on national radio stations including BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio Scotland. Hollywood came knocking with 2017 film The Drama Club picking up Fire Me Up for it’s soundtrack. An Ambassador for Robert Burns as well as an Ambassador for World Peace Tartan Jamie is a proud Scot who enjoys promoting Scotland whenever possible.
