I'm Hot Singles, your friendly neighborhood future funk producer/gay guy/furry/etc. I also make music as ONENINETYNINE or under my real name, George Osborne. I started making electronic music in 2017 but stopped early on because everything I made only felt adjacent to something I wanted to listen to. In 2018, I stumbled upon Future Funk after listening to Prom King and fell in love with the genre instantly. I decided after a couple of years that I wanted to start making music again, and spent my senior year of high school marinating ideas in the back of my head. It was during this time that I came up with the name Hot Singles, initially deciding it was too goofy before coming back to it. I finally started making music in 2022 shortly after graduating. While releasing my own songs, I've made remixes and collaborations with artists like Party Night 天の川, 펑키한 Cadet, Hackosef, blip_, Itami Dakusu, FreshAppleSlices, Inky - TS and more. I'm also the creator and organizer of Team Building. One day I looked at the wrapper for a stick of butter and decided that the graphic design looked cool, so I decided my next album would be named Butter. Butter has since become my most iconic album.
