NAMOSH. Berlin-based musician, performance artist, actor and DJ whose electric live performances in all its unbridled disco-eroticism helped define the music and club scene of 2000s Berlin. His artistic development commences in 1981, on his day of birth. Soon, he writes the first chapters of a rich artist biography: breakdance, song writing, self- organized performances in school. Coming of age, he almost instantly moves to Berlin, as is right and proper for an ambitious young painter. Painter? Certainly, but that should not work out as planned. From his first days in the capital, a four-track recorder claims most of his attention. Voice, percussion, keyboard – the last track is filled in 2002 with his very first own drum machine. Ever since, painting is ultimately off the table, which will not stop filling with harmonious delicacies.
