David André Østby (David Ostby) is a Norwegian Worship leader and pastor. He has written and co-written a number of much loved worship songs, such as Gi Meg Jesus, All Because Of You, Strømmer Av Nåde and Graven Er Tom. His latest album Hele Himmelen (2018) was his first studio album since Eksplosjon (2014). «Eksplosjon» has gained more than 5 mill streams, and entered the Norwegian sales chart VG-lista the week after its release. On January 14 2021 David released his first ever cover song «Du sier», a Norwegian translation of Lauren Daigle's Grammy awarded song «You Say», featuring Karoline Neteland. This was the first single leading up to David's April 2021 album release Hymner.
