By far one of the most critically-acclaimed in his city as a heavy hitting play-maker, recently Tonik releases his debut project "Welcome 2 Seattle" with a jarring, in your face production, executively produced by himself. Tonik continues to push the limits within his own genre bringing back the real Hip Hop sonics. Born in Flushing Queens, NY, it's only right his sound encompasses lyrical wordplay along with a drum driven sound backed with an electric nuance within the production. Seattle Washington Native Youjin Ma AKA "Tonik" has in the past collaborated with big New York figures such as China Mac & Chuck Strangers, and continues to network along both the West and East Coasts, not forgetting "Everyday" by D Rich & Lil Reese of OTF, a drill record produced by Tonik back in early 2021. While still producing for other artists in his city or networking with other producers and artists on the internet, Tonik doesn't seem to care for the boundaries within the music industry with NuWav being the main root to his multi-faceted vision.
