Frederik Bulthaup is a German pop musician and producer. At only 4 years of age, his passion for music, as well as his extraordinary talent, were discovered as he began taking classical piano lessons. In the years to come, he composed his first classical songs and won the composition contest of Kinderlobby OWL. During his time at Ravensberger Gymnasium, he started becoming active as a piano player, singer, songwriter and producer. After 11 years of taking classical piano lessons, he devoted himself more and more to popular music and took popular lessons with Thomas Steingrube. After he successfully released some self-produced songs, he expanded his recording studio and started working for external artists. In 2017, he won the “Session Possible Newcomer Award” by Ev. Pop Akademie in Witten. From 2018 - 2020 he studied popular music at Music College Hannover, with singing and piano as his majors and graduated as certified professional musician and qualified music pedagogue (Jazz/Rock/Pop). In 2019, he founded his own music label “FBM”. That same year, he released his debut album “Screenshot” under his label and went on a tour through Germany with his live band in order to perform his songs in front of a crowd. Since 2020, he has been studying popular music, with production as his major, at Institut für Musik at Hochschule Osnabrück. Outside of his studies, he still accepts jobs from other artists and produces songs for them. He loves breathing new life into their works.
