Tara Rai is a British Indian multidisciplinary artist who weaves together vocal and visual realms into an evocative tapestry that is distinctly primordial. Often drawing upon somatic enquiry as a body-based practitioner, Rai's songs reveal a personal yet universal cry to be heard in an ever noisy world. Her debut EP 'Mauta', 'death' in Punjabi, was accompanied and produced by fellow medicine musician Alex Forster in 2023. Their latest EP 'Bardo' is a continuation of 'Mauta' into the liminal space between death and rebirth.
