Just Vaneé is a native Floridian, born in Tallahassee, and raised in Pembroke Pines (a city nestled within the outskirts of Miami and Fort Lauderdale). Struggling to find her way, Vaneé was encouraged to make lemonade from even the sourest of lemons. Keeping mostly to herself, Vaneé found writing to be therapeutic and utilized it as an outlet and a means of expression. 
 Inspired by Drake’s So Far Gone EP in 2009, Vaneé began taking a deep interest in music. Drake’s audacious approach to music that empowered others to be different is what catapulted Vaneé head first into the world of rap and hip-hop. That experience proved to be monumental; as it was on that day, Vaneé the artist emerged.
