Michael Stewart aka Beat Tribe was first discovered by UK's Omid 16B, when Stewart's remix of Omid's classic progressive house track, "The Game" was selected as the grand prize winner in a Beatport remix contest back in 2013. Since then, he has gone on to have his music released on renowned underground house labels such as SoundGroove Records, Twisted UK and Alola Records. His track "Black Holes of Emotion" was featured heavily in mixes by Barry Jamieson, Nick Warren and more. On his third full-length album, "LP3", Beat Tribe take a more relaxed, world-music inspired vibe on tracks such as "New Horizons" and "Soundspeaker Spliffin'" which bring to mind the dub and reggae sounds of Jamaica while heavy-hitting tracks like "Frozen Skies, Longing Hearts" and "Double Vision" stick true to his darker and sinister music vibe he has become known for. He has remixed tracks for house legends Manny Ward and Midnight Society and has developed a reputation for his production work and remixes.
