Born and Raised in Khayelitsha, Cape Town, Sipho Ngqayimbana professionally known as Msai. Is a record producer/ beat - Maker, Dj and sound engineer. Growing up, Sipho Ngqayimbana have always been a music fanatic, this dates back to his High school days where he used to rap and was part of a Musical group called Mode Method which consisted 5 Members. After High School, Msai went to the University of Cape Town to Study B.Sc in Computer Science, but in 2016 towards the end, in August he started to Learn FL Studio during the FeesMustFall period because classes had stop and he had all the time. So since 2016 he has been consistently working and people knew about him when he was still associated with Thee Leaks. 2018 Msai, Produced a Song for Jobat which was shot by Motion Billy and since then he developed a relationship with the Motion, and that’s when he Joined BOYSINDIE and met Lurah. He has Produced a lot of songs in the City and worked with most hard working artists such as Lurah, Bravo Le Roux, Soul T, Holy Alpha, Flash Ikumkani, etc. Msai recently co Produced a song with Kay Faith for the award winning artist YoungstaCPT which featured eJayCPT. 2019, Msai executive Produced the project that got his name out there and earned him respect, a project by Lurah titled New Drug 2. 2020, he came together with Lurah and Jobat to form an Independent record Label , Trap Money Music group.
