It is unimaginable to do without JOO KRAUS in the German history of music of the last three decades. He is touring around the world with his own band and as a guest soloist with artists like Omar Sosa, Ivan Lins, Paula Morelenbaum, Mezzoforte, Klaus Doldinger, SWR Bigband, Marialy Pacheco, Max Mutzke, Pee Wee Ellis and many more. Joo was the co-founder of german HipJazz Duo TAB TWO with was one of the most successful bands in this genre worldwide. Joo has been a songwriter for many years now ( Tina Turner amongst others ) and also arranging and composing for orchestra, bigband and theatre. He is also a two times Grammy nominee, holds five German Jazz Awards in gold and has won the Echo Jazz as best Trumpet Player in Germany. His newest album WE ARE DOING WELL has been released February 5th in 2021.
