Any music is good music if it gets somebody's juices going. What gets my juices going depends on the day, the hour, the weather, the state of my health, what I had for lunch, and about a million other things. I like, respond to, and resonate with almost all kinds of music. I make high-quality homemade music and video. “running dog music” is a tongue-in-cheek play on multiple meanings: “capitalist running dogs” or “imperialist running dogs” were terms of contempt, employed by Mao Tze Tung and others to deride Western culture’s relentless chase after the almighty dollar. Not exactly descriptive of my approach to making music or to living life. “Running Dogs” is a term also used to describe a lackey or unquestioning follower – I am on nobody’s leash. Last but not least – dogs running freely at speed are a beautiful thing to see.
