Having previously worked with some dance music heavyweights (BT, Paul Oakenfold, Chicane) as a songwriter & vocalist, British-Iranian recording artist Lyonheart AKA Sena Verdi’s reach has extended far beyond the world of EDM. His double EP No Brakes / No Blueprint (feat. Aqualung) was met with critical acclaim. Verdi has wowed audiences as songwriter & guitarist of post-punk band RALE , with BBC Introducing & BBC6 Music features, support slots for the likes of Mystery Jets, Reverend And The Makers & The Cribs whilst most recently playing Reading & Leeds festival. He’s also one half of Indie-pop duo Other Nature, with a debut live outing at Isle Of Wight Festival & a flurry of forthcoming releases & live shows happening simultaneously. As a composer, Verdi has written for multiple film & TV projects, including Rankin’s British film director showcase for Sky Arts on behalf of Hunger TV, & most recently score composer for the double award winning Dystopian Sci-Fi short Daughter. (Stockholm Film Festival and Met Film School Awards). In the EDM world, Lyonheart is currently paving his way back to where it all started, with collaborations, vocal features & upcoming releases on Toolroom Records (Zerothree), Interplay & Armada.
