Winner of 10 piano competitions in Brazil - including the III Nelson Freire Competition, and awarded in more than 20, Erika has performed extensively in her native Brazil, as well as in the USA, Poland, Germany, Portugal Bolivia and France. She has three released albums: “Images of Brazil” (2018) by Naxos Latin American Series, with american violinist Francesca Anderegg ; “Erika Ribeiro, Igor Stravinsky, Hermeto Pascoal, Sofia Gubaidulina” (2021) her solo debut by Rocinante Gravadora, nominated for the LATIN GRAMMY 2022 as Best Classical Album; and “entre luas” (2023) together with acclaimed brazilian singer Tatiana Parra . Erika Ribeiro studied Piano at Hochschule für Musik "Hanns Eisler" Berlin, Germany (2003-05), and chamber music at Écoles d 'Art de Fontainebleau, France (2008).
