Acclaimed Israeli American pianist Daniel Gortler has delighted both audiences and critics alike with his memorable performances around the world, receiving great praise for both his technical mastery and his musical ingenuity. He has performed as soloist with orchestras around the world, including the Berlin Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, NDR Sinfonieorchester, Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, as well as the Houston Symphony, San Francisco Symphony Orchestra, In addition, he has also performed with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra. Other highlights include his debut with the London Philharmonic Orchestra. Daniel Gortler has collaborated with esteemed conductors including Zubin Mehta, Christoph Eschenbach, Michael Tilson Thomas, Franz Welser-Möst, Justus Frantz, Manfred Honeck, or Dan Ettinger. He performed at the Schleswig-Holstein and the Verbier Music Festivals. He regularly performs with artists including Bo Skovhus, Nikolaj Znaider, David Garrett, Zvi Plesser or Steven Isserlis. Mr. Gortler made his New York recital debut at the 92nd Y and performed at the Mogador Theater in Paris, performing the complete cycle of Felix Mendelssohn 's "Songs without Words". He has a special love for the "Lyrical Pieces" by the Norwegian composer Edvard Grieg. Daniel Gortler is a great admirer of Arthur Rubinstein, Vladimir Ashkenazy and Vladimir Horowitz.
