Ori Uplift is the CEO of Abora Recordings and host of the weekly Uplifting Only show. In 2010 he started up the Trance Tehillim project. He became friends with the then-owner of Abora, who sold it him the label in 2012. Upon taking ownership, Ori’s goal was to grow the orchestral/emotional uplifting genre, create another scene for it outside the club world, and bring it to a large audience across the globe. He focused on finding artists with potential and having the staff help develop their skills. Abora has blossomed into the world's top label for orchestral emotional uplifting trance, and has sprouted 25 sublabels. It was rated the world’s #8, #6, & #5 label in yearly Trance Podium Awards, and was one of TFI’s best 5 labels. Since 2012, Abora has won FF on Armin van Buuren's A State of Trance 20 times. Ori’s weekly Uplifting Only show, which aims to be the definitive show for the orchestral uplifting genre, has developed a passionate fan base. It was rated the #8, #7, & #6 "Best Radioshow/Podcast " in yearly awards. He has closed for Aly & Fila and Bryan Kearney, performed with vocalists, and was the headliner at festivals in Ecuador & Israel. Ori has also ranked well on the charts. Three of his mixcomps reached the #1 spot. A total of 8 reached the top 5. It’s no surprise Trance Hub named him one of six "Artists to watchout for".
