Melodee is a Jamaican-American singer that grew up in a musical household affording her to develop a diverse musical palette. Starting out in church, Melodee has spanned the globe making her way to four out of the seven continents. Melodee has spent the last seven years touring the world from Asia to Africa, Europe and finally back to The Americas. Though born in the diaspora she is never more rooted and creatively expressive than when she is on African soil.Her musical taste is just as expansive with influences including Tina Turner, Lauryn Hill, Fela Kuti and The Beatles to name a few. Although well versed in a number of genres her caribbean roots allow Afrobeat to flow seamlessly through her. Her voice can be described as rich and full of depth pulling you in to feel every word. Melodee is a mix of energetic power vocals, raw dynamic talent and pure passion. She brings high energy to any stage she sets foot on and leaves a trail of love and light in her wake. With the release of her debut Ep “Episode Love” Melodee is about to shine that light on the world.
