American-born and Dallas-based, OMAIR picked up his first piece of DJ equipment as a teenager in the late 90s and hasn’t looked back since. Throughout his career, he has gifted the industry with unique works of auditory art, including “Perfect Imperfection”, “Project Artichoke,” “Light The Night,” and “I’m Done Playing.” Along the way, OMAIR garnered support from some of the biggest names in dance music from Black Hole to Coldharbour Recordings, Markus Schulz to Above and Beyond, EDC Las Vegas, Ultra Music Festival, and Amsterdam Dance Event. With the industry in his corner and a deep-seated passion to help others succeed, it was only a matter of time before stepping into the role of label boss. Today, he sits on the OHM Music throne, a future-forward imprint launched in 2016 with the haunting vibrations of “Beautiful Mystery” featuring Avari. Its moodier sister label OHM Deep State followed two years later, and together, the imprints have been placing the spotlight on new and established artists alike, building a home where musical expression is encouraged, nurtured, and respected. At his core, OMAIR is an intense creative. He walks the line between progressive house and trance, the latter pulling him out of the box to cultivate his brand-new alias, O/Mi. This fresh era unfolds with “Diamond Things” featuring Carla Werner, providing proof that OMAIR will continue to place a high priority on distinctive sonic detail and connection to his audience, no matter the moniker.
