You may have heard of Dani Poppitt as the former vocalist in the band Shallows. Her writing and vocals can be heard on the single "Gold (Stupid Love)" by Excision and Illenium, along with other releases by major electronic artists like Kaskade, Two Friends, Gareth Emery, FuntCase, and more. Following the release of that single, she and her bandmate Marshall Gallagher were forced to cut the Shallows journey short, as they parted ways with a harmful business situation.
